I have had the honor to study with amazing teachers who uniquely inspire me, I also have a dedicated personal practice which continues to expand my experience and shape my offerings. My personal yoga practice has lead me to realize that every movement, every sequence, each breath or moment of stillness has a purpose. A practice with purpose shifts energy into a state of presence and peace. Something within begins to soften, life becomes lighter, more effortless. This effortless way of being is the underlying quality I aim to share.

Every class or session incorporates a layered experience of creative movement, nourishing breath and meditation. I have been teaching yoga and meditation in Elmwood and surrounding area for over 10 years. I offer opportunities for vibrant energy & deep relaxation, purposeful movement & contemplative stillness. My studio is fully stocked with plenty of yoga props to support your experience.

* Certification in Subtle Energy body work: A deeper study of yoga philosophy, meditation and the subtle realms of energy including the 12 chakra system, sacred geometry, vibrational sound healing & mantras and the study of the 5 koshas.
* 6 modules of training in the Art of assisting yoga postures. An immersion in body awareness and the art of how to translate that awareness to others within their yoga practice.
* Certified Yoga Nidra Teacher: The extensive study of the 5 Koshas and the ancient meditation modality of the "yogic sleep of awakening".
* Additional certification in Yoga Nidra: An in depth training on the layers, sequencing and background of Yoga Nidra.
* Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine A course on the theory and principles of TCM in relationship with the philosophy of yin yoga.

Yoga Nidra is a mind-body relaxation practice that combines guided meditation with deep physical and mental rest. In yoga nidra, the participants lie comfortably on the floor with their eyes closed while being guided through body and breath awareness and effortless visualization practices . By exploring the lucid and receptive state between deep sleep and wakefulness, yoga nidra can be used to reduce stress, improve mental health
